Information We Collect

Calculator inputs (state, procedure type, prescription complexity, add-ons) are processed in your browser to generate your estimate. If you complete the lead-gate step to unlock your full results, we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide it — phone number, along with your ZIP code, selected procedure and prescription details, your estimated cost range, your stated timeline, and your consent choice. We also automatically capture basic attribution data with your submission, such as the page you submitted from, the page that referred you to our site, and marketing campaign parameters (UTM tags) if present in the URL. This information is transmitted to and stored by our form processing provider, Formspree.

How We Use Information

We use the information you submit to send you your LASIK cost estimate and related planning information. If you check the box consenting to be contacted, we may also share your contact information (such as name, email, phone number, and estimate details) with LASIK providers or their partners so they can follow up with you directly. We do not sell your information. We do not share it beyond what is described here except with your consent or as required by law.

Text Messages

If you provide a phone number and opt in to text communications, you may receive text messages about your LASIK estimate from LASIKCostGuide, a LASIK provider, or their partners — including messages sent using automated dialing technology. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of future text messages, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not required to receive your cost estimate, and this consent applies even if your phone number is registered on a state or federal Do Not Call list.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects anonymized usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Third-Party Links and Referral Fees

This site contains links to third-party financing partners (CareCredit, Credible, SoFi, and Prosper). We may earn a referral fee if you apply for financing through some of these links. These fees do not influence our cost estimates or editorial content.

Data Retention

We retain the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your information at any time using the contact information below.
